Information System Security Officer

Key Role:

Serve as a Cybersecurity subject matter expert for government clients in a fast-paced, demanding environment. Develop, review, and critique assessment and authorization (A&A) documentation in compliance with DoD Cybersecurity policy and agency guidance. Assess program security compliance, support program briefs, and coordinate and compile program security documentation for various programs. Provide A&A and Cybersecurity support, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD IT, assessing compliance with security technical implementation guides (STIGs), reviewing automated scans, security test and evaluation (ST&E), vulnerability assessments, and computer security responses, and creating and managing RMF packages. Interact with clients to perform technical audits. Brief client leadership on technical vulnerabilities in support of the government client and prepare brief slides and summary of findings analyses.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience with DoD Cybersecurity policy and RMF process

  • Experience with STIGs or applying IA controls

  • Knowledge of system software and organizational design standards, policies, and authorized approaches, such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO) guidelines, relating to system design

  • Knowledge of system life cycle management principles, including software security and usability

  • Knowledge of host and network access control mechanisms, such as access control list or capabilities lists

  • Knowledge of enterprise incident response program, roles, and responsibilities

  • Knowledge of an organization's information classification program and procedures for information compromise

  • Secret clearance

  • HS diploma or GED

  • DoD Cyberspace Workforce Framework (DCWF) 8140.03 Intermediate level certification

Additional Qualifications:

  • 5 years of experience with Cybersecurity

  • Experience with Marine Corps RMF packages and supporting documentation

  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, Information Assurance, or an IT-related field

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
